Gut Wellness Test

A Non Invasive Test to Help Detect GI Issues in Horses

About the Equiscan

Conventional forms of diagnosis such as CT, Ultrasound and X Rays all offer their individual strengths and provide vital insights into the condition of a horse. However, most of these tests mainly focus on one particular area i.e. scan for the spine, scan for the gut etc.

Our Health Analysis (through DNA sampling) completely transforms the way the equine industry is accustomed to conducting health examinations and offers an alternative method of screening. Through the use of advanced technological screening and DNA sampling, complete body scanning on a cellular level is carried out that enables accurate, reliable and reproducible information to be revealed and collected. A written report is then sent to you highlighting any organs showing energetic weakness or inflammation, including possible infections etc. The results provided may be useful for your Veterinary surgeon in their investigations towards improving your horses health.

Even with the best of care, horses can suffer from occasional bouts of ill health or related conditions and when it comes to spotting health issues, early detection is crucial. The conventional way of investigating is through procedures like gastroscopy (also known as scoping), endoscopy, MRI, blood tests. These procedures require time & preparation. Procedures can also be unpleasant for the horse and stressful for owners who may opt for such with slight reluctance.

Why Test?

The Test Clinic's ground breaking technology and medical advancement offers Equiscan, the revolutionary non Invasive way of testing that can help detect equine health risks quickly and easily. From a single DNA sample, Equiscan tests provide a holistic analysis of your horses body system in an easy to understand report .... all in a non invasive manner. Results from Equiscan report’s can provide you or your vet with new information and can also act as an ideal first step towards the process of diagnosis.

Equiscan Tests analyse all major areas of a region. For example, the Gut Wellness Test looks at the hind gut, fore gut, stomach, nerves and much more to gain an insight into the overall digestive system, thus offering a truly holistic analysis. We go beyond traditional testing methods to provide you with tremendous insights, from inflammation to chronic illnesses and serious infections.
Our reports can provide Practitioners with additional information to help achieve success in equine treatment.

Gut Wellness Test is a complementary screening method. It does not replace a gastroscopy and is not a medical diagnostic tool.

Signs of Equine Digestive Health Issues

Ulcers can show as any of the following symptoms:

Irritability
Lethargy
Uncomfortable under Saddle
Unusual Behaviour
Poor Performance
Does not like Girthing
Mild Colic
Sensitive Areas

What it Does

When it comes to spotting potential ulcer issues, early detection is crucial. The conventional way of detecting gastric ulcers (EGUS) is through gastroscopy (also known as scoping). Whilst Gastroscopy provides a formal diagnosis, it is a procedure that requires time & preparation. The procedure can also be unpleasant for the horse and stressful for owners who may opt for scoping with slight reluctance.

The Test Clinic's ground breaking technology and medical advancement offers Gut Equiscan, the revolutionary Non Invasive way of testing that can help detect the risk of ulcers and more. From a single DNA sample, the Gut Equiscan provides a holistic analysis of your horses digestive system in an easy to understand report .... all in a non invasive manner. Results from the Gut Equiscan report can provide you or your vet with new information and can also act as a pre scoping assessment tool.

Did You Know?

1 in 3 Horses in the UK suffer from Ulcers

Ulcers occur in 2 main sections: Fore Gut & Hind Gut

Up to 60% of horses have Hind Gut Ulcers

Gastroscopy can only diagnose Fore Gut Ulcers

The Gut Equiscan analyses both Fore Gut & Hind Gut ulcers

Transforming the Equine Health Screening Industry ... together

Our Gut Equiscan Test allows you to look after your horses health and well being. We’ll help your horse stay healthy by identifying high-risk factors and any signs of early inflammation, before symptoms appear. You’ll also get advice on food supplementation that may help towards better health.

In addition to stomach and fore gut analysis, the Gut Equiscan test also delivers important health and trait insights into the hind gut. So you can create an even more personalised care plan for your horse.

Ready to go beyond the norm?

The Gut Equiscan can complement a gastroscopy procedure to help reveal more about your horses health. It can also act as a pre-scoping measure that may help you or your vet.

What Makes us Different?

A Decade of experience in Bioenergetic Screening
We have been offering wellness testing services and private health checks since 2015 to people across the UK and worldwide. Clients have been benefitting from our unique tests with results that have helped them and their doctors in finding answers to their health problems. We are now providing the same quality service for animals.

Scanning through Human Intervention

Other companies who offer scanning use fully automatic systems that produce automated scanning results ie. after the DNA is inputted into the machine, an auto scan is performed, a set of results is generated within minutes, printed and sent to the client. Whilst there is definitely value in these results, often things can get overlooked. Results can also be tricky to understand and interpret with medical terms mentioned.

At The Test Clinic, we have a range of technological systems including auto scanning systems. However, we prefer not to rely on an automated process of scanning. Each and every scan is manually performed by an experienced Practitioner. This involves studying each DNA, analysing and investigating deeper if required in line with any initial health concerns that you may have raised at the beginning. The end result is a set of information on your horse that has been carefully and individually prepared from expert human analysis and in an easy to understand manner.

Rest assured that your horses bio scan is analysed by a human and not just an automated machine. At The Test Clinic, we are passionate about our clients health and several hours are spent on each scan to produce a report that is clear, concise and easy for you to understand. We have always operated like this and always will.

Personalised Report

We do not produce automated, machine generated reports. Each set of results is created from human analysis and a personalised report is produced for you. To view a sample of our report, click here.

You may choose to share the report with your Vet, Nutritionist or other healthcare practitioner. Alternatively, you may wish to pursue a well being plan yourself.

Either way, the report results can provide detailed insights into the state and functionality of your horses organs and help to identify the root causes of various conditions.  In being able to determine the origins of any given condition, you, along with your Practitioner can make more informed decisions regarding your horses health.

The Science

‘If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration’ - Nikola Tesla

Bioenergetic DNA testing is based upon the principles of quantum physics. This is a pretty complex area of science, but in very basic terms quantum physics is about the behaviour of matter and energy of the very small, so atoms and subatomic particles and waves.
Quantum physics recognises that everything around us emits a frequency, which can be measured. It also recognises a phenomenon called entangled states.

Bioenergetic testing (also known as bioresonance) uses the information from a living organism, which gives out energy, in this case DNA samples of hair and saliva. The energy, or frequencies, in the DNA are tested. These frequencies are compared to the frequencies of the organs being tested for in order to establish their levels in the body. This provides an insight into areas of ‘abnormality’ and further investigation can look into factors such as inflammation, infections and more.

Research and supporting documents
Although bioresonance has been practiced for around 20 years, recognition of this screening practice is now growing rapidly. Whilst there is still a lack of sufficient clinical papers, below is a selection of research papers intended to educate and inform about the efficacy of bioresonance.

Please remember, if your horse is seriously ill or you believe they have a medical condition, we advise you to consult with your Vet immediately.

The contents of our test reports are not meant to infer any diagnosis, treatment or cure of specific conditions and illnesses. Although many illnesses can be linked to pathogenic or toxic influences, the likely presence of such in your report is not necessarily indicative of the illness itself. If you are concerned about your horse's health, please seek the advice of your Veterinary Practitioner. The information provided in our test reports may help them further towards considering more formal investigations in line with current medical practice.
